The Steps for Life Team Challenge is a fun and friendly competition for those who want to demonstrate their commitment to health and safety. Whether you’re a socially-responsible company, a family with a personal connection to the cause, or a community group with a mission, you can join the challenge! Compete with other teams who “get it”, in your city, your company and across the country!
- Build camaraderie as you work towards a shared goal.
- Contribute to supporting family members affected by a workplace tragedy.
- Demonstrate your commitment to health and safety to your employees, your community and the nation.
- Gain recognition and bragging rights!
Encourage Team Building
Employees will walk and fundraise together for a common cause. A healthy competition will be initiated amongst employees by encouraging individual departments to form their own teams and vie internally for the honour of “Most Successful Fundraising Team.”
Raise Corporate Visibility in the Community
The hard work and motivation of employees will be seen as a goodwill gesture within the local community and will translate into an increased awareness of your brand.
Make a Significant Mark in Raising Awareness
Your efforts will support families after a workplace tragedy. Your company will align its brand with health and safety and become one of Canada’s leading injury prevention champions.
Double the Gift - Workplace Giving
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, but each company’s program varies. Depending on your company’s program, your recent donations may be eligible as well. If you would like your gift to do twice as much, contact the Human Resources or Charitable Giving department where you work. They will be able to tell you if gifts to Threads of Life are eligible to be matched and provide you with the required paperwork.
