Welcome to Marco's personal fundraising page - TEAM AECON
April 28th is the National Day of Mourning for workers who have been killed or suffer work related injury or disease.
I am proud to work at Aecon who has safety as its top core value, at Aecon safety isn’t just a program, it’s the core of our corporate culture, managing safety is the responsibility of everyone in the organization, as an Aecon employee, we have to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day, every day.
So this spring, I have an amazing opportunity to walk in Steps for Life - Walking for Families of Workplace Tragedy and raise money for Threads of Life.
Along with thousands of participants across Canada, I will be fundraising to provide programs and services for families who have suffered as a result of a workplace tragedy; raising awareness in our community about the devastating ripple effects of each workplace tragedy; and promoting a cultural shift to improve health and safety in the workplace so that others will not experience a workplace fatality, traumatic life-altering injury, or occupational disease.
Workplace health and safety is important to me and I'm here to share #MyWhy in raising awareness about workplace health and safety.
The Toronto - Steps for Life 2020 walk will take place on Sunday, April 26.
Register to walk with me or click the button to make a donation. I appreciate your support and thank you for stepping up for workplace safety!
