I am once again participating in Steps for Life - Walking for Families of Workplace Tragedy. All my friends and family know this is something very important to me so please help me make a difference in these lives that have been so tragically affected.

In the past couple of years we have seen too many people who never made it home from work. The last couple of months have really hit home with the recent tradgedies in the Fort McMurray area, this walk is to support those families that have been left behind. 

Along with thousands of participants across Canada, I will be fundraising to provide programs and services for families who have suffered as a result of a workplace tragedy; raising awareness in our community about the devastating ripple effects of each workplace tragedy; and promoting a cultural shift to improve health and safety in the workplace so that others will not experience a workplace fatality, traumatic life-altering injury, or occupational disease.
